602-256-9400Daryl is a true bet-the-company commercial trial lawyer with a decades long track record of multi-million dollar verdicts against some of the largest law firms in the country. After making history by winning the biggest jury verdict in Arizona for that year, he’s been one of the most respected attorneys in the West. His sterling reputation precedes him.
He also treats you, the client, with respect. When you talk to him, you’ll instantly notice that he is a man who cares deeply. However, don’t let his constant smile and enthusiasm for your case fool you.
To your opponent, he is aggressive and relentless, while being erudite and a master tactician. He can take on the biggest firms in America. Nobody is too big, too intimidating, or too well funded for Daryl. He’ll look them in the eye, and they will know that they are in for a fight.
He is an AV-rated trial lawyer with over 40 years of experience. He has conducted more than 100 jury trials involving commercial litigation matters, including contracts, real estate, securities fraud, construction defects, antitrust, unfair trade practices, and insurance bad faith.
Daryl is also a senior fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society that is limited to one half of one percent of American lawyers.
Not only that, he single-handedly developed the technology we refer to as ‘The Chron’. No other law firm in the world has access to this technology. You can read more about it on our How We Win page.
He is also an active, commercially-licensed pilot with multi-engine and instrument ratings, has more than 4,000 hours of flight time, and is a volunteer for the Veterans Airlift Command that provides transportation to combat wounded and their families.
A true Renaissance man, Daryl is also a classical pianist, woodworker, computer programmer, and Old Testament scholar, who became fluent in Spanish by listening to tapes on his way to work

With a string of successes over twenty-plus years, Daniel is as fierce as they come. His clients describe him as an approachable, easy going guy who relentlessly goes for the win.
Daniel is approachable because he can talk to anyone. You will feel comfortable in his presence because he will explain your options in plain English. Yet his opponents soon realize, particularly when their client is under oath, that this Clark Kent turns into Superman in the court room.
Daniel is an AV-rated trial lawyer with over twenty years of experience in commercial litigation, including cases involving business divorce, breach of contract, business torts, trade secrets, non-compete/non-solicitation covenants, and unfair competition. He has tried dozens of cases to courts and juries. He has particular expertise in electronic discovery. Daniel and his e-discovery team use the latest technology to efficiently gather, filter and use — to the client’s benefit — the electronic evidence important to the case, without getting mired in irrelevant details. And by doing the e-discovery in house, firm clients save thousands of dollars that would otherwise go to outside vendors.
As a trial lawyer, Daniel is nimble, aggressive, and always ready. He knows that the key to victory is mastering the facts and evidence so that no matter what happens, he can put the key piece of evidence on a screen within seconds. Smooth and seamless. No fumbling. No delays. You would be hard pressed to find someone as thorough and prepared as Daniel.
Daniel went from a top six law school to nine years at blue-chip law firms in Los Angeles. As a BigLaw commercial litigation partner, he represented fortune 100 corporations in massive cases with hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions, of documents.
He resigned that lucrative partnership because he wanted more jury trials, so he moved to Arizona to try serious felony cases for several years. Later, Daniel met Daryl Williams and realized that Daryl’s Chron was the holy grail of trial tools. They joined forces and Daniel has not looked back. Daniel Mestaz is a true professional with the skill and experience to take care of you and your company.

We invite you to contact us, though doing so does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send any confidential information to us until such time as an attorney-client relationship has been established.
